These are almost photographs, and yet. The Sun was invisible - too bright,
So I added it afterwards where it should have been. This may sound innocent enough,
but in my opinion it's no longer a 'pure photo' - more like 90% photo and 10% graphic...

Modern Ghosts. People wandering around in our rooms, talking to themself, not to us.
We can see them, but they rarely seem to notice us. They repeat their actions,
again and again, and yet they think it's all new. But we know better, they are,
for a ghost of reasons, doomed for uncertain time, to walk the light...
Interstellar Yeast
Space graphic
Interstellar space is not empty at all, rather it is stuffed with cosmic Yeast.
Unlike Planktons lazy lifecycle Yeast is constantly busy, tumbling hither and dither to scoop up
Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen, combining the atoms into a growing abundance of Alcohol.
Cosmic Yeast moves fast and unpredictably, and has so far avoided any direct detection.
However, thanx to Yeast the universe will never run out of spirits, although
there might be local and temporary exceptions on less lucky planets...

Galactic plankton
Space graphic
Most types of galactic plankton drift silently in interstallar space.
It spends 99,99% of its lifetime in a dormant state, dreaming of light.
Awakes only when a nearby star blossoms into a nova, drowning space with light.
Within seconds plankton multiplies into millions of copies devouring
most of the photons that would otherwise have flooded the skies.
In short, thanks to plankton the nightsky remains black...
