MON 2 JAN - Even without snow and ice winter still reveals itself, as a certain clear coldness of the air...

WED 4 JAN - A new image of a new kind in a new year: An experiment with 4D, the third dimension is time and your mouse is the fourth.
The composition is a cross, a vertical and horisontal line, each a stack of 20 layered images, smaller images above larger.
Details mutate as time goes by, but global structure moves with the mouse, so you can change space any time.
The colour texture may remind you of snow or water? Don't worry, that's quite intentional: like a virtual winter...
This animation is a construction with many elements and many layers, so it may take many seconds to download completely. But patience is still a rewarded virtue.
If you move the mouse inside the image, it will react like a cat: follow the mouse. It reacts to your presence and comes closer.

SAT 31 DEC - A new year, just around the corner. Here's some of the sights that night...

Dew condensed on surface of clear plastic...

Isn't it amazing how modern televison sometimes resembles ancient ghosts...?
![]()
Broken mirrors, pieces scattered on the ground...

Bubbles are in a way inverted drops, but still made of water. Or some other kind of fluid stuff...
![]()
Different sights from different nights in northwestern Copenhagen, Denmark...

Waves in air can't be seen, but you can hear them. Waves in water are visible, but you can't hear them...

Floating, fluid, dripping, raining, streaming, splashing graphics...

Images in this gallery are the result of combining drop photos with other objects, much more solid than water.

Even in the darkest night,
there is still a lot of light...

Grass is such a well known plant, that we hardly look closer anymore. But try take a look again:
Mirroring a simple grass photo twice creates new angles, less natural more mystical, like green floral juwelry, hovering in the summer air...

Water graphics based on photos from the water photo collections...

Images without an explanation or an obvious motive; see for your self...
Fire and flame in perpetual motion
Unknown plant drifting in interstellar space, occationally circling a planet, or a moon, to keep them company.
Such plants can live for centuries, and travel lightyear after lightyear, but they only bloom when they think nobody is looking...
Collection of unknown materials:
Alien artefacts, floating out there in galactic space.
Perhaps on their way to something we do not know. Maybe not even awake.
Perhaps they are slumbering, dreaming about real aliens, even as strange as us.
Take a closer look...

The only thing
faster than light
is imagination...
I have always been photographing, on and off. Earlier I made many drawings, but I have only made one painting. Also I have spent some time writing fiction (and some music), but most of that didn't survive the test of time...
Early 80'ties I discovered micro-computers, and programming. In 1999 the Internet arrived; lots of webdesign followed.
I'm equally interested
in graphics and logic.
Art is an exploration af this mysterious universe: How did we end here, where will we go..?
Also, I think science is essentially a creative act: Worldmaps aren't discovered, but created...
What does "Mads" and "Dam" mean as words? Many things. Here's some etymology, acronyms, phrases etc.

Welcome to my growing pile of pictures. And I might as well tell, before you ask:
If you want to buy a print or the copyright, then contact me.
Prize depends on size, purpose and other variables, so I can't offer a simple standard prize. But you're free to ask...
If you want to borrow a photograph, you're normally welcome, if you ask. Provided it's only for personal and non-commercial purposes.
In any case it would be nice, if you remembered to credit the source. A simple link would suffice...
