

Everybody's heard about and seen the little mermaid in Copenhagen. Actually that's also an old mermaid, from 1913, almost a century ago. Here's a more modern version, from the sculpture group ''genetically modified paradise'' by Bjørn Nørgaard in 2006...

I visited a new multicultural exibition in Københavns KulturCenter located in northwestern Copenhagen. The exibition was arranged by NyDanskerKunst and presented 15 artists from 15 countries: paintings, music and a group of 'living sculptures' guiding us through room after room.

In 2008 a new exibition took place, an exibition without filter, in Valby, Copenhagen. I participated with 5 photos from the Light Show collection.

In 2008 Mikala Lykke was invited to create a sculpture of recycled materials, live in High Tåstrup, just south of Copenhagen.

In 2008 I visited High Tåstrup, together with Mikala Lykke who was working on a sculpture made of recycled materials.
On our way home I spotted this giant tower that I had never seen before. Wow...

Bertel Thorvaldsen was a danish neoclassical sculptor.
The statues can be seen in his own museum in Copenhagen.
