Usually photographs are good at recording space, while video is required to capture time as well.
However, in this collection I have tried to include both time and space in a photograph.
Technically it is achieved by long exposure.
This is not a new invention, rather the opposite as the very first photograph had an exposure time of 8 hours.
Today exposure may be only a split second, which makes the process fast and the image sharp.
Long exposure loose many details, but instead one gets a sense of movement.
Historically this idea was labeled 'Futurism', but I prefer the name 'Flux'.
Partly because the name is misleading; it is neither the future nor the past at stake here,
it is rather time itself being employed. As a river instead of a point.
Partly because 'fluxus' is latin for flowing,
and I think this describes much better the 'flow of time' in these images...
