Making order - making sense

A cognitive comment

This dream was long ago, and extremely short.
Nevertheless, it certainly had a point to make:

I am sitting in a room, watching TV.
At least I'm trying to watch, but the screen displays only noise,
chaotic dots. It's impossible to see the film I wanted.
Impossible to see any thing at all.

Then I suddenly realize: I'm not really looking at chaos,
all the images of the film are there, none are missing.
The problem is that all images are shown simultaneously.
Result: chaos. And yet...

If they only could be ordered, I think,
if all these data could be brought in formation. If only...
Snap. As I think this, so it becomes: suddenly order arrives
and one image is shown after another. Order.
The film is now visible...

Quite literally, making order made sense.
